Tips:
To remove the thorns from the Cactus Leaf (aka Nopal or Nopales) lay the pad flat and scrape a knife across the skin until all the thorns and dark rounds are removed. Use a peeler around the sides if easier.
Cactus Leaf can be eaten both raw and cooked.
When cooked, the cactus releases a sticky film similar to Okra which cooks off over time.
